How does a wood and coal fired boiler work?
A feed boiler such as SE or SE MAX II is a traditional heating device in which fuel (wood or coal) is manually fed into the combustion chamber and manually ignited. Manually fed boilers have the option of automating their operation by installing a draft regulator or a controller with basic functions.

How often should you refill the boiler with fuel?
The frequency of fuel loading depends on several factors, such as internal and external temperature, boiler output, building insulation and fuel type. In boilers with a large combustion chamber, one loading may be enough for several hours of operation.

What are the differences between a feed boiler and a wood gasification boiler?
- A hopper boiler – burns wood and coal in a traditional way, is characterized by a simple design and manual operation.
- A wood gasification boiler – uses the wood gasification process, i.e. additional combustion of wood gases at a high temperature, which ensures higher efficiency and lower exhaust emissions.
