Problems with the controller

What does the „fumes sensor damaged” alarm mean?

Answer:
It means that the fumes temperature has exceeded 250°C. The fumes temperature sensor is broken.

Explanation:
Lower the fuel feeding.
Replace the fumes temperature sensor.

What does the „clean the boiler” alarm mean?

Answer:
It means that the boiler exchanger is dirty. The fumes temperature is higher than 220°C.

Explanation:
Clean the boiler exchanger.
Lower the fuel feeding.

What does alarm – overheated mixer mean?

Answer:
Overheated mixer means that the temperature after the mixing valve is greater than 70°C.

Explanation:
Reduce temperature on the valve.

What does the „boiler overheat” alarm mean?

Answer:
The boiler overheats when the temperature exceeds 90°C.
The hold time is too short.

Cool down the boiler
Increase the hold time.

What does the „feeder overheat” mean?

Answer:
The overheated feeder can mean that the fuel bin door is open.
Damaged seal under dispenser flap.
The seal under the bin is broken.
The cleaning hatch seal is broken.
The seal between the burner and feeder pipe is broken.
Loose screws on the connections of the basket between the feeder and burner.

Explanation:
Close the fuel bin door.
Replace the seal under the bin door.
Replace the seal under the basket.

What does alarm mean – excessive flue gas temperature?

Answer:
Clean boiler means that the boiler’s exchanger may be dirty.
Flue gas temperature greater than 280°C.

Controller functions – description of designations

What is the anti-lock?

Answer:
Antilock feature works only with pellet.

Explanation:
The main purpose of the device is to keep the heat in the furnace. If the boiler shuts off after reaching the required temperature then, provided the temperature does not fall, the antilock ativates for 5-10 seconds every 20 minutes. The antilock can be set according to the preferences and boiler power. Usually, it is set for 5 seconds.

What is central tap water priority?

Answer:
The central hot tap water priority is a controller feature that heats up the hot tap water vessel and then activates the central heating.

Explanation:
The feature is used in hot tap water consumpiton conditions.

What are the PLATINUM controllers working modes?

Answer:
The PLATINUM controllers have three working modes.

Explanation:
Summer- heating up the tap water.
Manual- heating up the tap water and feeding the central heating. In this mode, set the temperature on the boiler and the heating circulation.
Weather- heating up the tap water and the central heating. In this mode, the controller calculates the set temperature for the boiler and heating circulation.

What features does the microprocessor regulator have?

Answer:
The controller provides:
– automatic ignition and extinguishing
– weather control
– room control (room temperature)
– central tap water pump regulation
– clock regulation of the circulation pump, additional pump, burner (boiler operation time)
– control via Lambda sensor.

What is hot tap water decontamination?

Answer:
It is a feature of the controller that heats up the tap water tank to 70°C in order to decontaminate it.

Explanation:
The feature kills the Lagionaella bacteria in the central tap water circuit. If the water in the tank is kept below 50°C, the bacteria settles. The situation is possible to take place when the tank temperature is kept below 50°C or when the taps are rarely open.

What is a heating curve?

Answer:
Heating curve is an outside temperature graph in relation to the central heating water temperature. The heating curve is a calculated heating temperature in relation to the outside temperature.

Explanation:
The heating curve graph is included in the controller manual.

How is the boiler protected against freezing?

Answer:
The boiler is protected against freezing with the controller software.

Explanation:
At the temperature below 8°C, the controller opens up the mixing valve and turns on the central heating pump in order to prevent the water in the installation from freezing.
Additionally, all the pipes that are exposed to heat loss should be extra insulated.
Check if all the windows in the vicinity of the piping are complete and shut and there are no holes in the walls etc.

Problems with the installation

Is it required to install a four-way valve?

Answer:
Yes, it is required to install a four-way valve.

Explanation:
A four- way valve is a very useful device which:
– protects the boiler against low temperature corrosion
– mixes the infeed water with return so as to achieve a stable agent for the central and floor heating
– enables smooth temperature control by an acutator
– saves fuel
– protects the boiler from corrosion and prolongs boiler life span.

What to do when the water in the boiler boils ?

Answer:
Do not panic. Nothing serious usually happens. The reason for that might be lack of heat reception, open ash tray door, feeding easily burnt materials e.g. paper.

Explanation:
In such case, when the temperature exceeds 90°C, the controller activates all the pumps( even the ones that are switched off) and opens up the mixing valve in order to cool down the boiler.
If the door is open please close it.
It is essential not to let cold water into the installation as it may cause an explosion.

What is the lowest temperature of the boiler?

Answer:
The higher thetemperature the better but the lowest temperature should not fall below 60°C.

Explanation:
The boiler should be adjusted in the way so that when the boiler temperature is 60°C, the fumes temperature is 140°C. It ensures the best efficiency of the boiler. At such temperatures, the boiler will not „sweat”and get wet as there is no fumes gas condensation.

Why isn’t the central heating pump working?

Answer:
Domestic Hot Water priority is active
Schedule is active

Explanation:
To eliminate the problem, deactivate Domestic Hot Water priority, set the schedule.

It is permitted to add water to the installation while the boiler is working?

Answer:
Adding water to the installation while the boiler is working is prohibited.

Explanation:
Adding water to a hot boiler creates a hazard of rupture in the boiler and installation.
When the boiler is hot, this may lead to a leak or rupture.

What is the minimum return temperature?

Answer:
By the book, the minimum return temperature is 10°C less than the supply temperature.

Explanation:
In practice, without any mixing valves or other mixing devices it is impossible. It is recommended to install a four-way valve to make the boiler operate on short circulation at high temperature and the installation on any set temperature.
The protection of the boiler is still in place and equals the boiler feeding temperature.

Why does the controller close the mixing valve?

Answer:
Insufficient return temperature, the boiler should be allowed to slowly feed water to the central heating installation, and if this state persists for a long period of time, place the return sensor closer to the mixing valve or change the minimum return temperature.

Problems with burning fuel

Why does the unburnt pellet fall into the ash tray?

Answer:
Because the pellet feeing rate or ventilation are too big.

Explanation:
Lower the feeding by 2-3% and check for improvement, if necessary, repeat the procedure.
Lower the ventilation by 2-3% and check for improvement, if necessary, repeat the procedure.

Why does the unburt eco peas fall into the ash tray?

Answer:
The unburnt eco peas falls into the ash tray because the coal feeing rate is too big.

Lower the feeding by 2-3% and check for improvement.

What can be burned in boilers with a gutter feeder?

Answer:
Pellet can be burned in boilers with a gutter feeder.

Why is there sinter on the burner?

Answer:
Sinter is made by excessive air infeed.

Why is the fuel burning in the boilers with automatic feeding.

Answer:

It happens because the burner air chamber is dirty. There is no sealing under the retort collar or the ventilator is broken.

Problems with fuel feed

Why is the pin off?

Answer:
The pin is off because the eco peas granulation is different than recommended, there are too many stones in the eco peas or too much saw dust in pellet. The fuel might be wet or there is sinter in the burner.

Explanation:
Change the coal.
Sift and change the eco peas.
Change pellet.
Dry off the fuel.
Clean the burner.

The feeder engine is working but not stoking.

Answer:
The engine is working but not stoking because the pin is off or the feeding screw is worn off.

Explanation:
Replace the pin. Replace the feeding screw.

The blower fan is not working?

Answer:
The blower fan is not working because it might be unplugged.
The boiler has overheated and STB protection has intervened.

Explanation:
Put the blower plug back in.
After the boiler has cooled down, press the STB button.

The feeder engine is overheating.

Answer:
The feeder engine is overheating because the capacitor is worn off.

Explanation:
Replace the engine capacitor.

The feeder does not work and the engine is humming?

Answer:
The feeder does not work and the engine is humming because it is probably blocked and the pin is off. Another reason might be that the engine capacitor is worn off.

Explanation:
Open the cleaning hatch door, remove the „foreign body” e.g. a stone.
Replace the engine capacitor.

What is the feeder’s maximum temperature?

Answer:
The feeder’s maximum temperature is 80°C.

What happens when the feeder's temperature is exceeded?

Answer:
To prevent flashback, the controller activates the feeder to push fuel outside of the feeder’s pipe.

Problems with gutter burner

The burner does not start.

Possible cause:
No power supply or the boiler controller is off.
Motoreducer fuse is on.
The overload relay is on.
The engine thermal shut down has come on.

Possible solution:
Check the power supply and the main switch of the controller.
Check it and replace if necessary.
Reset the overload relay.
Check the switch and identify the cause.

The feeder screw does not rotate although the motoreducer is on.

Possible cause:
The motoreducer fuse has come on.
The screw- motoreducer clutch is disconnected.
The screw gets dirty before the boiler stops.

Possible solution:
Check it and replace if necessary.
Replace the clutch pad and connect the clutch again.
Remove the screw, clean it, inform the manufacturer.

Smoke coming from the bin.

Possible cause:
The whole system is leaky.

Possible solution:
Check if the feeder door is closed properly.
Check the seals and feeder screws with burner. If necessary, tighten the loose elements.

The screw feeder runs empty (no fuel).

Possible cause:
The overload relay is on.
No fuel in the bin or the fuel got stuck over the feeder.
The screw- motoreducer clutch is disconnected.

Possible solution:
Reset the overload relay.
Check the fuel level in the bin and over the fuel inlets.
Replace the clutch pad and connect the clutch again.

Screw protection wedge is often cut off.

Possible cause:
The motoreducer support is not properly connected to the floor.
The reducer support is incorrectly centred in relation to the screw.
Possible solution:
Correct and ensure stable connection.
Check the installation axiality and center it if necessary.

The screw end in the retort is burnt.

Possible cause:
Incorrect combustion regulation.

Possible solution:
Regulate the combustion in the boiler according to the manual.

Problems with PELLAS-series pellet burner

The burner does not ignite fuel

Causes:
No fuel – check the dispenser and feeder for clogging
Insufficient starting dose – check the starting dose
Damaged igniter – check the heater
Damaged drive motor – check the motor’s thermistor

Checking the photosensor

Causes:
Photosensors in the burner should be cleaned every so often with a soft, damp cloth. For this purpose, dismount the housing by loosening four mushroom-head bolts – in REVO Mini – REVO Mini35 models – or three bolts in models from REVO 44 to REVO 150. Next, remove the photosensor from its seat, clean it and reinstall it. After performing the above activities, install the burner’s housing in reverse order.
Frequency of photosensor cleaning

Damage to feeder’s sensor – alarm cannot be cleared

Causes:
The most common cause of this malfunction is destruction of the sensor’s thermal protection, which leads to overheating of the measuring element as a result. If, despite cooling of the burner, the alarm cannot be cleared, the measuring sensor must be replaced. In order to verify whether the sensor is damaged, one must measure its resistance, which should be within the range of 1-5 Ω. The resistance of a damaged sensor is approx. 100 kΩ.

Blower damage

Causes:
Blocking of the blower’s blades – unfasten the bolts of the blower’s guard and check whether they are mechanically blocked
Check the voltage on the blower’s cables
Check the capacitor of the blower’s motor

Displayed temperature set on boiler is different than the programmed temperature

Causes:
Check:
Whether the domestic hot water tank is not being charged during this time and the set domestic hot water temperature was set above the boiler’s set temperature, and if so, then the difference between readings will disappear after the hot water tank is heated up, or reduce the set domestic hot water temperature
Are time intervals enabled – disable time intervals.

The additional feeder does not work (B module)

Causes:
Check whether the feeder’s cables are properly connected to terminals,
Check whether the jumper is mounted on terminals 1-2 of the B module,
Check whether the feeder’s motor is damaged,
In the case where one can hear the motor running and fuel is not being supplied, check the feeder according to the feeder’s instruction manual.

Fuel is not burned entirely, unburnt fuel parts are found in the ash. Fuel burns with a large amount of smoke, the burner is extinguished

Causes:
Check power modulation settings in menu → boiler settings → power modulation.

In the Domestic Hot Water = SUMMER pump mode, radiators are hot and the boiler overheats.

Causes:
Increase the value of the parameter: extension of domestic hot water pump work time, to cool the boiler.

In hydraulic installation with mixing valve and actuator – the mixer does not open.

Causes:
The cause may be charging of the domestic hot water tank while domestic hot water priority is active. Wait until the hot water tank is charged or deactivate the domestic hot water priority.
The cause may be that the SUMMER function is active.
The cause may be tripping of the return protection function (menu → maintenance settings → boiler settings → return protection). If the return protection function is active – check whether the sensor of water return to the boiler is thermally insulated from its surroundings. Improve thermal contact between the sensor and pipe by applying thermal paste. Increase the boiler’s set temperature in order to provide a power reserve for heating return water. Check whether the hydraulic installation is properly made, i.e. after closing the valve, return temperature must rise above the value of the Min. return temperature parameter.
The cause may be ongoing calibration of the mixer valve, wait until calibration is complete. Active calibration is designated by the “KAL”sign in the INFORMATION menu.

The burner fires up but does not transition to the first power step

Causes:
Excessive starting dose – check the starting dose
Dirty or malfunctioning photosensor – clean or replace the photosensor,
Damaged external thermostat in oil boilers or baking ovens

Overheating of internal feeder.

Causes:
Burner contaminated by slag,
Low chimney draught – apply flue gas extraction

No signs of the appliance’s work can be seen on display despite connection to the grid

Causes:
Check:
Whether the network’s fuses have not burned out, and replace if necessary,
Whether the cable connecting the panel to the executive module is properly connected and undamaged

Clogging of feeder

Causes:
The internal feeder is designed to uniformly mix and feed fuel.
The cause of clogging of the internal feeder may be:
Improper setting of the internal feeder with respect to the external one – increase the work time of the internal feeder (maintenance menu/burner feeder)
Damage to motoreducer – replace motoreducer
Improperly selected feeder work interval – the value should not exceed 20 s (maintenance menu/burner interval)

The fan is not working.

Causes:
Check whether the jumper of the STB safety temperature limiter input is mounted on terminals 1-2 (the jumper should be mounted only in the case where the temperature limiter is not connected).
If the boiler’s manufacturer equipped the boiler with an STB temperature limiter with manual return to starting position, unblock it by unfastening the cover and pressing the button according to the manufacturer’s documentation.
Check the fan and replace if necessary.

Fuel feeder is not working / not feeding

Causes:
Check whether the feeder’s cables are properly connected to terminals,
If the STB temperature limiter is connected to terminals 1-2, check whether the circuit has not been broken due to boiler overheating,
Check whether the feeder’s motor is damaged,
In the case where one can hear the motor running and fuel is not being supplied, check the feeder according to the boiler’s instruction manual.

Temperature is not measured correctly.

Causes:
Check whether there is good thermal contact between the temperature sensor and measured surface,
Check whether the sensor’s cable does not run too close to the power cable.
Check whether the sensor is connected to the terminal.
Check whether the sensor is damaged

The domestic hot water pump works even when the domestic hot water tank is already charged.

Causes:
Set the parameter: extension of domestic hot water pump work time = 0.

The central heating pump isn’t working.

Causes:
Check:
whether the boiler exceeded temperature above the central heating pump activation temperature – wait or reduce the value of this parameter.
whether domestic hot water priority is active, blocking the central heating pump – deactivate the priority by setting domestic hot water pump work mode to No priority,
Whether the central heating pump is damaged or blocked.

Problems with boiler operation – general

There is water coming from the convection channels.

Answer:
The fuel used is wrong or the humidity is too high.
– Too little air feed.
– Fumes throttle is closed.
– Controller is set incorrectly.

Explanation:
Use fuel of proper energy value and humidity.
Open the air throttle.
Open the fumes throttle.
Set the controller right.

During the initial start-ups the boiler „sweats”?

Answer:
It is due to condensation.

Explanation:
Heat the boiler above 80°C and keep this temperature for at least 6 hours. If necessary, repeat.

How long can the boiler operate on full tank?

Answer:
There is no simple answer. It can be assumed that the boiler can operate for 3-4 days.

Explanation:
The continuous burn time depends on:
– fuel calorific value
– heating insulation of the building
– kind of installation i.e. floor heating, radiators, boiler
– boiler exchanger cleanliness, amount of ash in the ash tray
– outside temperature
– inside temperature
– combustion quality

Smoke coming from the boiler door.

Answer:
It means that there is no draught.

Explanation:
Tighten wall in the connection between the flue pipe and the chimney.
Check if the patency of the chimney, and its parameters are as recommended by the manufacturer.
Seal the outlet of the boiler to the chimney vent, preventing the suction of cool air.
If the chimney diameter is too small, you can install an extraction fan.

Why is there grime in the boiler?

Answer:
There are few conditions in which grime collects in the boiler e.g. wet fuel, bad combustion conditions, oversized boiler, low boiler temperature.

Explanation:
In the first case, the wet fuel produces low fumes temperature causing fumes condensation. In such case, not only does the boiler get dirty but the chimney as well.
In the second case, it is usually caused by insufficient amount of air in the combustion chamber. It is enough to let in some more air and the flame with gases will burn completely.
In the case of an oversized boiler, the temperature is reached very quickly making the boiler idle and the fumes gases burn out causing grime collection. The worst scenario is when the temperature is too low. If the boiler is not connected properly, it becomes a thermostat, which means that if you want ot lower the temperature in your house, you need to lower the boiler temperature. It is recommended to install mixing valves.

Questions – Controllers – older versions 

What is the maximum number of pumps that can be connected to a single output of the controller in the SILVER and GOLD regulator?

Answer:
The maximum load on the output is 80-100W, and so one.

How is fuel supplied to the burner manually - SILVER or GOLD controller?

Answer:
Switch the boiler to OFF mode, then enter CONNECTIONS TEST and start the feeder until fuel appears in the burner. (MENU – CONNECTIONS TEST – Feeder – ON)

How to check whether pumps are connected correctly?

Answer:
Switch the boiler to OFF mode, then enter CONNECTIONS TEST and start individual pumps.
MENU – CONNECTIONS TEST – Central heating pump – On
Domestic hot water pump – On
Pump P3 – On
Circulation – On

What will happen in the event of boiler overheating?

Answer:
In order to discharge water quickly, the controller will activate all pumps and open the mixing valve to its maximum, and in the case of higher temperature, STB protection will activate, mechanically disconnecting the fan/feeder.

Why isn’t the fan/feeder working despite signaling of work on the display?

Answer:
– STB protection has been activated (wait for the boiler’s temperature to drop and press the white button of the protection)
– The power plug has been disconnected from its socket
– If the feeder is equipped with reverse, the position of the switch is set to 0
– The start-up capacitor of the feeder/fan has been damaged (replacement required)

What fuses are installed in the boiler?

Answer:
6.3 A glass fuse.

Where should the sensor of the ½ mixer be placed?

Answer:
The sensor of the ½ mixer should be placed after the mixing valve, after the pump.

What are the automatic work modes?

Answer:
The SILVER controller features the following work modes:
S – firing up
N – normal work
P – sustaining
D – burnout/extinguishing
The GOLD controller features the following work modes:
Firing up
Work
Sustaining
Burnout
Extinguishing

What should the boiler’s hysteresis be?

Answer:
The boiler’s hysteresis should be set within the range of 1-5.

How is weather control activated?

Answer:
For the boiler to work based on the weather sensor:
– in the boiler’s MENU, select work mode: Weather (Menu -> boiler -> weather work mode)
– in the CH/CH1/CH2 menu, set the heating curve according to preferences (menu -> CH -> heating curve)

What room regulator supports the controller?

Answer:
The controller supports every traditional two-wire contact thermostats.

What contacts should be selected for the room thermostat?

Answer:
In the SILVER controller:
For FL310: NC and COM
For FL310A and FL310 (present in the SMART boiler): NO and COM
In the GOLD controller: NO and COM

What is the room thermostat’s principle of operation?

Answer:
In the case where the hydraulic installation has a mixing valve with an actuator, when the room thermostat detects that the set temperature has been reached in the room, it will reduce the temperature of the central heating circulation by the value selected in MENU →CH→Reduction of room regulator.
In the absence of a valve with actuator, the room thermostat will disengage the CH pump when the set temperature is reached. In such a case, NO must be selected in MENU→CH→Actuator.

What should the relationship be between boiler temperature and CH and Domestic Hot Water temperature?

Answer:
It is recommended to maintain a difference of at least 15 degrees between the boiler’s set temperature and CH and DHW temperature.

What is the difference between the programs for eco-pea and pellet?

Answer:
In the case of the eco-pea program, the controller realizes the sustainment function. In the case of the pellet program, sustainment is omitted.

Why can’t I change the value of the anti-blockade?

Answer:
The eco-pea program is selected. This function is only for pellet and does not work for eco-pea.

How can I increase the fuel feed?

Answer:
SILVER controller:
The parameter determining the amount of the fuel feed in the combustion process is the feed 100% parameter
Menu→Burner
In the case of an insufficient fuel feed, this time must be extended.
GOLD controller:
The parameter determining the amount of the fuel feed in the combustion process is the feed in cycle parameter
Menu→Burner
In the case of an insufficient fuel feed, the percentage share of feed in the cycle must be increased.

What does feed in cycle mean?

Answer:
It defines for how much time the feeder supplied fuel over the course of the feeder’s cycle.
Example
Feeder cycle 20.0 s
Feed in cycle 20%
Actual feed = 20 x 0.2 = 4s of feeder work.

What to do if eco-pea is not being burned completely?

Answer:
Perform the following:
– Clean out the ventilation duct found under the burner’s crown
– If there is no improvement, increase the blow-in power (menu -> dm settings for all powers are to be increased by 2%)

What to do if pellet is not being burned completely?

Answer:
If unburnt pellet is found in the ash pan, reduce the blow-in power/fuel feed.
To do this, follow these steps: MENU -> burner -> feed 100% – reduce by 0.2s
MENU -> dm settings -> reduce by 2% for all powers.

Why does the boiler fire up but doesn't enter work mode?

Answer:
The boiler’s regulator acknowledges that the fire-up attempt was successful if the flue gas sensor detects a temperature 5 degrees higher than the boiler’s temperature. If the boiler continues to attempt firing up despite firing up of the furnace:
check whether the flue gas sensor is found in the flue
check the flue gas sensor for pollution, and if it is dirty, the dirt is to be removed mechanically
clean the boiler
if the boiler is equipped with swirlers on the draught, remove one of them.

Why do I hear knocks on water grates in hopper boilers?

Answer:
Knocking on water grates in hopper boilers indicates that the boiler is not leveled properly.
Local boiling of water on grates.
No water circulation.

Explanation:
Level the boiler.
Check the water circulation.
Check whether the pump is working.

How does the boiler start in automatic work mode with the SILVER or GOLD controller?

Answer:
Hold down the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds.

How can I check the correctness of connection and operation of the mixing valve’s actuator manually?

Answer:
Switch the boiler to OFF mode, then enter CONNECTIONS TEST and check the direction of valve opening and closing, an incorrect connection will result in no rotation.
MENU –> CONNECTIONS TEST –> Mixer On –> On
Mixer Off – On.

What is the boiler's alarm temperature?

Answer:
The boiler’s alarm temperature is 90°C.

Where is the STB sensor found?

Answer:
The STB sensor is found under the black cap on the right-hand side of the display.

Why doesn’t the controller start after the cradle switch is set to position I?

Answer:
If the switch lights up after setting its position to I, check the fuse and the fuse socket found under the switch.

Where should be the central heating sensor be placed?

Answer:
The CH sensor should be placed after the CH pump.

Where is the lambda probe found?

Answer:
The lambda probe is found in the boiler’s flue, connected by 4 wires in a black guard. In the case where there is no seat for the probe, it is blinded by a rubber plug.

What do question marks mean where temperatures are displayed?

Answer:
The controller does not “see” the sensor, and this is caused by:
– damage to the sensor (replacement required)
– disconnection of the terminal block (to check if this has occurred, unfasten the guard above the controller and check whether the terminal block is connected to the controller)

How to change the minimum return temperature?

Answer:
Activate advanced settings, then navigate in the controller to measurements and change the minimum return temperature at the very bottom. It is not recommended to set a temperature lower than 30°C.

How to let more hot water into the CH circulation?

Answer:
If there is a manually controlled mixing valve, set the knob to a higher scale. If the mixer is equipped with an actuator:
In the SILVER controller:
– In the CH menu, change the target temperature
In the GOLD controller:
– Change the target temperature in the CH1/CH2 menu

How and where should the room thermostat be connected?

Answer:
In the case of a boiler model with sockets on the rear, the thermostat is connected to a socket. In the case of a model without sockets for connection, unfasten the maintenance cover and connect the thermostat’s leads directly to the controller’s terminal strip.
In the SILVER controller: Connect leads to the Reg.Pok and GND terminals of the controller module
In the GOLD controller: Connect leads to the REG.POK1/REG.POK2 and GND terminals of the controller module.

Why is the room thermostat working in reverse?

Answer:
Contacts were selected incorrectly in the thermostat. In such a case, switch NO → NC / NC→NO
If the thermostat does not enable a change of contacts, change the work mode from heating to cooling. (See also room controller instruction manual)

What temperature and hysteresis should be set for domestic hot water?

Answer:
In most cases, DHW temperature is 45 and hysteresis is 5. These values can be modified by the user at will.

How do I begin burning on the grate?

Answer:
Change settings:
Menu→Burner→Fuel→ Grate
Then start the boiler in automatic mode. It is prohibited to open the ash pan door to establish a draught. Air for the combustion process is supplied by a fan.

Answer:
Boilers with a gutter feeder can be fired by various fuels thanks to three work modes.
Explanation:
The first – eco-pea
The second – pellet, this program can be used to burn pellet, cereal grains, seeds, fine chips and anything with fine granulation.
The third – grate, wood and coal are used in this program.
Of course, if we are burning eco-pea or pellet, we can also burn a little wood or coal on the top grate simultaneously.
