Wood gasification boilers

The SEMAX BASIC boiler series is aimed at people who have large supplies of wood. These boilers have been awarded the EcoDesign certificate and class 5. The installation of these boilers requires the use of a buffer tank in the heating system, which can be ordered separately. The SEMAX BASIC boiler can be additionally equipped with an exhaust set consisting of the ST 880 PID controller and an exhaust fan.

Using wood-burning central heating boilers can also be ecological and does not currently require a large amount of fuel. Boilers of this type are chosen mainly by people who have a large supply of their own seasoned wood. These devices obtain EcoDesign and class 5 certificates, and are eligible for funding in the "Clean Air" program. When using boilers with manual filling, you also have to reckon with inconveniences. All activities related to lighting and cleaning are carried out by the user. These devices should also be installed together with a buffer tank. Installing the tank, although it is an additional cost, also has positive aspects. It increases the level of convenience of using the central heating boiler. The buffer tank stores hot utility water, thanks to which the operation of the entire installation and the boiler is stabilized.

The use of a buffer tank optimizes the operation of the boiler and allows its use in single-family homes. The price of such a set increases to an amount very close to that which has to be paid for a boiler with automatic pellet fuel feeding. The wood boiler operates at full power, which it can provide when burning seasoned wood, accumulating excess generated heat energy in the buffer. Then the central heating installation draws the collected domestic hot water directly from the buffer, which allows for more efficient and ecological use of the boiler with manual filling.
