METAL-FACH Heating Technology is an experienced Polish manufacturer of central heating boilers (C.H.), specializing in the production of high-quality boilers for pellets (biomass) and other fuels, such as wood or eco-pea coal. The company was founded by Jacek Kucharewicz and has been operating on the Polish market since 1989. Our headquarters are located in Sokółka, in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, in the north-eastern part of the country.

Company History
1989-1990 – Beginnings of the business
Starting a business in 1989 was a big challenge, but also a chance to make dreams come true. Jacek Kucharewicz, the founder of the company, with savings and money from selling the MZ 250 motorcycle, bought the first professional BESTER welding machine. The first product created in our plant was a central heating boiler.1991-1993 – Development and investment in machinery
Investments were key to the company’s development. The funds given as a wedding gift were used by Mr. and Mrs. Kucharewicz to purchase more machinery for the company, these were guillotines for cutting sheet metal. Thanks to this, the plant could independently produce the elements needed to manufacture central heating boilers. This accelerated production and allowed for the next stage, which was the investment in starting the construction of a new plant. In 1992-1993, the building adjacent to the plant was purchased and rebuilt into a paint shop, which enabled control over the entire production process.1998-2000 – New products
The next step in the company’s development was to expand the offer to include agricultural machinery. The owner saw the potential in this industry and introduced the first carousel tedder, which became the driving force for the further development of the company. The success of this product encouraged the creation of other machines, such as a bale wrapper and a baler.2002 – First steps in promoting the company
In 2002, METAL-FACH took an important step towards increasing its recognition on the domestic market. We decided to actively promote our products by participating in prestigious industry fairs. This was the moment when the company “took to the deep end”, presenting its achievements to a wide audience. The first fairs where our products could be viewed were:- “Days with Agricultural Consulting ODR Szepietowo 2002”
- “AGRO SHOW-BEDNARY 2002”
2002-2003 – Company division
At the turn of 2002-2003, an important moment in the company’s history took place. The dynamic development of both industries led to the necessity of dividing the company into two separate units. This allowed for better direction of activities and specialization in individual areas:- METAL-FACH Jacek Kucharewicz (1989-02-01) – remained a company specializing in heating technology, in particular in the production of central heating boilers.
- METAL-FACH Sp. z o.o. (2002-12-02) – as a new unit, it focused on the production of agricultural machinery.
2004 – Modern machinery is the measure of success
Thanks to the subsidies obtained from the European Union, the company made another leap in development. A professional laser and the largest automatic shot-blasting chamber in north-eastern Poland were purchased. These investments allowed for an increase in the quality of manufactured goods and for the improvement of production processes.2005-2006 – Recipe for success – be an expert
According to Jacek Kucharewicz, the recipe for success in business is work, good staff and passion. Just one year after winning the distinction “For the highest dynamics of employment growth” in the BUSINESS AMBASSADOR competition, METAL-FACH Sp. z o.o. wins first place in this competition, thus winning the prestigious title of “BUSINESS AMBASSADOR – PODLASIE 2004”. METAL-FACH Sp. z o.o. received the “BUSINESS GAZELA 2006” award granted to the most dynamically developing companies. In addition to the titles won, the company exhibited more and more often at Polish and foreign fairs.
2008-2010 – More, further, faster
METAL-FACH Heating Technology has been intensively increasing its production of central heating boilers, acquiring new customers and new sales markets in Europe and around the world. It is strengthening its position on the domestic market. Growing demand and brand recognition lead to another investment in the expansion of production halls and a warehouse for finished products, in order to meet the growing market demand. At the same time, a modern paint shop is also being built, improving the quality and aesthetics of the boilers and agricultural machines produced.2009 – 20 years have passed…
The year 2009 was a special moment in the history of METAL-FACH, as we celebrated the 20th anniversary of our business. The ceremony took place in our modern banquet hall, which gathered many distinguished guests. Among them were our distributors, city authorities, and employees who have contributed to the success of the company over the years. This event was an excellent opportunity to reminisce, sum up our achievements and express gratitude to all those who have supported us over the past two decades. We thanked our business partners for their trust and long-term cooperation, as well as our employees for their commitment and contribution to the development of the company. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the company was an important moment for us to reflect on how far we have come since our humble beginnings in 1989. We owe this success to hard work, determination and the trust that our Clients and business partners have placed in us. We are proud of what we have achieved and we look to the future with optimism, ready for new challenges and opportunities.
2010 – Sponsorship and charity
We are actively involved in sponsoring numerous sports and cultural events in our region. We support many sports clubs, promoting a healthy lifestyle and developing talents in the local community. Our commitment includes:- Sponsoring sports teams – we financially support football, volleyball, billiards, cycling and motocross clubs, enabling them to participate in competitions at various levels.
- Organizing sports events – we are a partner of numerous tournaments, competitions and car rallies, which attract participants and spectators from all over the country.
- Supporting cultural events – we sponsor festivals, concerts and exhibitions, contributing to the richness of cultural life in our region.
2012 – Trade fairs and open days
Since 2012, METAL-FACH Technika Grzewcza has significantly increased its involvement in trade fairs and open days. We regularly participate in many prestigious industry events both in Poland and abroad, presenting our products and innovations to a wide audience. Our stand at trade fairs has always attracted a large group of visitors interested in modern and effective heating solutions. Thanks to direct contact with customers, we were able to better understand their needs and expectations, which translates into continuous improvement of our products. Participation in these events is not only an opportunity for promotion, but above all a way to build lasting relationships and gain valuable knowledge about the market. We believe that such activity contributes to the further development of the company and strengthening our position as one of the leaders in the heating technology industry.
2012 – Training
Due to the development of the company and the increase in the number of products offered, METAL-FACH Technika Grzewcza is actively involved in organizing numerous training courses for installers from Poland and abroad, related to our products. We understood how important it is to have a qualified team of specialists who will not only sell our products, but also be able to professionally install and service them. Goals of our training:- Improve the qualifications of installers – provide them with the latest technical knowledge and practical skills related to the installation and operation of our boilers.
- Introduction to new technologies – presentation of innovative solutions and functionalities introduced in our products.
- Building relationships – establishing and strengthening cooperation with installers, who are a direct link between our company and end users.
2013 – New product line
In 2013, METAL-FACH Jacek Kucharewicz began implementing its latest project: the production of rims. This was an important step towards diversifying the company’s operations and expanding its product range. The development of METAL-FACH Sp. z o.o., specializing in agricultural machinery, contributed to the creation of a new production line in the plant producing central heating boilers. The new production line was equipped with modern machines and devices, which allowed for the production of rims that meet the highest quality standards. Our rims were used both in agricultural vehicles and in other industries. The introduction of rim production was further proof of our ability to innovate and adapt to changing market needs. Thanks to this, we strengthened our position as a versatile manufacturer offering a wide range of metal products.
2014 – Environmentally friendly devices
In 2014, the trend related to ecology and care for the environment intensified in Poland and Europe. A new standard PN-EN 303-5:2012 was introduced, which specifies the requirements for solid fuel boilers in terms of energy efficiency and pollutant emissions. Our boilers met this standard, confirming their environmental friendliness:- Class 5 – pellet boilers;
- Class 4 – eco-pea coal boilers;
- Class 3 – wood and coal boilers.
2016 – Reduction of exhaust emissions in boilers and further technological innovations
Significant changes have taken place in the heating industry, related to the tightening of ecological standards and the pursuit of reducing exhaust emissions. Our boilers have obtained another ecological EcoDesign certificate, qualifying them to participate in the Low Emission Reduction Program (PONE). This was an important step in adapting our products to new environmental requirements. The era of multi-fuel boilers is also ending, and the standards introduced by the state are starting to require devices designed to burn a specific type of fuel. At this time, we are introducing to our offer an eco-pea coal boiler equipped with an automatic igniter. This is a patented coal ignition system no. 002846790-0001, used in a cast iron burner for eco-pea coal. It was such an innovative step in the development of eco-pea coal boiler technology that for a very long time METAL-FACH Technika Grzewcza was the only company in Poland to offer a reliable technical solution in this area. The innovative igniter enabled automatic ignition of the fuel, increasing the comfort of use and efficiency of the boiler. Thanks to this, users could enjoy the convenience of operation comparable to gas, oil or pellet boilers.
2019 – 30 years have passed, we are introducing a new boiler design – a complete change
We are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the METAL-FACH Jacek Kucharewicz company. This important anniversary was an opportunity for us to sum up our achievements to date and look to the future with new energy. We also decided to make a complete change to our products. The new design is primarily an attractive appearance, in line with current design trends. This complete change was a symbolic step towards a new era in the history of our company. The new look of the boilers was met with enthusiastic reception on the market, strengthening our position in the heating technology industry.2020 – Awards and distinctions
METAL-FACH Technika Grzewcza is one of the leading manufacturers of central heating boilers in Poland! The awards and distinctions awarded to the boiler manufacturer are the result of a consistently implemented development strategy focused on caring for the environment and high efficiency of devices. The variety of awards granted proves the versatility of the actions undertaken by the company, they are, among others, an expression of recognition for the results of reliability, trust, references for the brand, as well as commitment to research and development and thus to new technologies systematically introduced in products.
2020 – Clean Air Program
We have become intensively involved in the Clean Air Program, a government initiative aimed at improving air quality by replacing old, inefficient heat sources with modern and ecological devices. Our boilers, which meet the highest emission standards and have EcoDesign and Class 5 certificates, have been qualified for the program, enabling customers to obtain funding for their purchase and installation. Thanks to this, we contribute to the reduction of air pollution, promoting ecological heating solutions and supporting our customers in the process of modernizing heating systems.2022 – Transformation of METAL-FACH JK into METAL-FACH TG Sp. z o.o.
2022-11-02 there was a formal change, the transformation of METAL-FACH Jacek Kucharewicz into METAL-FACH Technika Grzewcza Sp. z o.o. The transformation of the company was a natural step in development, allowing for better adaptation to the dynamically changing market and the expansion of the enterprise.2025 – Opening of the container laboratory for solid fuel combustion
We are pleased to announce that METAL-FACH Heating Technology has delivered a container laboratory for solid fuel combustion with full research equipment for the needs of the Białystok University of Technology. Thanks to this modern infrastructure, it will be possible to conduct advanced research and development work in the field of energy efficiency and environmental protection at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Cooperation between science and business This project is an example of close cooperation between the world of science and industry. METAL-FACH Heating Technology, combining market experience with the scientific achievements of the University, supports the development of the energy technology industry.“Our company has long decided to combine business with science, because this is the only sensible solution.”
Emphasizes Przemysław Wdowiak, Sales Director at METAL-FACH Heating Technology, who is also a graduate of the Białystok University of Technology. Innovative boiler and flue gas discharge system As part of the project, the company delivered a 15 kW Seg Bio boiler, which will enable research on efficient and ecological biomass combustion. The container laboratory is comprehensively equipped, enabling advanced experiments. Research on biomass and waste combustion As emphasized by Dr. Hab. Eng. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk, prof. PB, Rector of the Białystok University of Technology, the development of biomass and plant waste combustion methods is a global challenge. The new laboratory is to serve the search for innovative technological solutions and support the education of students and doctoral students in this key field. Common concern for the future The launch of the container laboratory is in line with the mission of METAL-FACH Heating Technology, which consists in providing ecological and efficient heating solutions and actively supporting the development of science in our region. The common goal of improving air quality and sustainable resource management unites us with the Białystok University of Technology in working towards a better future.
