The SEMAX BASIC DUO 15-20kW boiler is a modern and ecological solution designed for efficient heating of single-family homes and smaller commercial facilities. The device combines two independent heat sources, an advanced wood gasification process and automatic combustion of wood pellets compliant with the 303-5: 2021-09 standard. This design provides flexibility in fuel selection, allowing you to adjust the heating to current needs and fuel availability. An additional advantage of the boiler is its hopper, which can be placed on any side, which makes it easy to adapt to small boiler rooms. The product has been awarded the EcoDesign Certificate and has a 5th boiler class, which confirms its compliance with the latest ecological and energy standards in force in the European Union. Additionally, the manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty* on the boiler, which proves the high quality and reliability of the device.

Comfort of use
Thanks to intelligent technical solutions, the boiler ensures comfortable operation both during pellet and wood combustion. Automation of processes, such as pellet fuel feeding or automatic burner cleaning, means that daily operation of the device requires minimal involvement. In the case of wood combustion, the gasification chamber allows for high efficiency with relatively easy and quick lighting. As a result, the user has a convenient, safe and effective source of heat at their disposal in every situation.

Automatic feeder
The automatic feeder feeding pellet fuel is an element that significantly increases the comfort of using the boiler. Its main features are:
- Maintenance-free fuel supply - pellets are automatically transported from the tank to the burner, eliminating the need for manual feeding.
- Quiet and smooth operation - solid construction and high-quality mechanisms ensure reliability and minimize noise.
- Time saving - the large capacity of the tank allows for long-term operation of the boiler without the need for frequent fuel refilling.
The automatic feeder guarantees the continuity of the combustion process and optimal boiler efficiency, with minimal involvement on the part of the user.
Exhaust gas temperature sensor
Together with the controller, the sensor monitors the exhaust gas temperature.
Swirlers
Swirlers are a solution that:
- Increases heat exchange efficiency - swirlers cause turbulence in exhaust gases, which improves heat transfer to the water jacket.
- Reduces fuel consumption - better heat exchange means lower energy losses and more economical operation of the boiler.

Efficient design adapted for automatic cleaning of the exchanger at the front. The construction of the boiler exchanger ensures high heat collection from the furnace.
Flue outlet at the back of the boiler
The boiler design has been designed in such a way that the flue outlet is located at the back of the boiler. The use of such a solution allows for the flue to be led directly to the chimney.

The use of an exhaust fan with adjustable height brings a number of benefits:

- It allows you to adjust its outlets to the chimney installation in the building.
- It maintains the appropriate draft, ensures even fuel combustion and maximum efficiency.
- The fan prevents the backflow of flue gases, which increases the safety of using the boiler.
- The flue outlet at the back of the boiler changes position upwards after using the fan.
Thanks to this solution, the boiler can be effectively used in various installation conditions, ensuring optimal operation regardless of the specifics of the boiler room.
The air is regulated by means of an exhaust and blowing fan when using a boiler with a feeder.
Secondary and primary air intake
Air is sucked in through six holes to fully burn the fuel. The amount of secondary and primary air can be adjusted with sliders.

Allows for effective removal of smoke from the combustion chamber depending on the user's needs.

Ceramic plates
The use of ceramic plates in the combustion chamber improves the efficiency of the combustion process. The screens increase the temperature in the combustion chamber and stop particles floating in the furnace, burning them out. The thermal efficiency of the boiler increases, and the amount of compounds harmful to the environment is reduced to a minimum in the flue gases.

Ecology and savings
The use of wood and pellets as renewable fuels translates into care for the natural environment and reduction of harmful emissions into the atmosphere. Wood gasification allows for efficient use of the energy contained in biomass, and pellets – available in large quantities on the Polish and European markets – guarantee a stable and economical source of fuel.
Pellet burner
The SEMAX BASIC DUO 15-20kW boiler is equipped with a modern DW pellet burner. The burner has been designed for maximum combustion efficiency and minimizing harmful emissions. The DW burner is adapted to burn wood pellets compliant with the 303-5:2021-09 standard.
The DW burner uses an automatic ceramic igniter that offers:
- Fast ignition – the igniter reaches high temperatures in a short time.
- Long service life – high resistance to temperature and mechanical wear.
The automatic burner cleaning system ensures:
- Automatic removal of ash and deposits – the cleaning mechanism regularly removes accumulated deposits, ensuring optimal combustion conditions.
- Constant efficiency – thanks to self-cleaning, the burner maintains high efficiency throughout its service life.
- Minimal maintenance – the user does not have to manually clean the burner, which saves time and increases the comfort of use.

The intuitive PLATINUM PELLET controller enables precise management of the boiler operation. Optional accessories, such as the ecoNET300 internet module, and the ecoNET24 application provide real-time monitoring of device information and device control via the Internet.

PLATINUM PELLET Controller
The PLATINUM PELLET controller is the heart of the boiler management system. Equipped with an intuitive interface with a color touch screen, it allows easy and precise setting of the device’s operating parameters. The device supports:
- One mixing circuit C.O.1 with a room thermostat – allows for precise adjustment of the heating water temperature and rooms.
- Pump (C.W.U., C.O., additional) – manages additional heating zones such as underfloor heating or domestic hot water control.
- RTC clock – allows programming of the weekly boiler operation schedule.
- Weather control – allows programming of boiler operation modes depending on the weather or time of day.
- FuzzyLogic & PID – monitors the boiler operation, allows for current viewing of operating parameters and diagnostics of possible irregularities.
The controller is also compatible with the ecoNET300 internet module, which allows for remote control of the boiler using a smartphone or computer from anywhere.
